OUR STORY: From My Heart to Your Cup

When I first started making tea bags, it was simply a creative outlet—a way to blend my love of tea with my love for art. But as my small business grew, it evolved into something more meaningful, connecting me with people and places I hadn’t expected.

One of the most important connections has been with my sister, who now lives overseas in the Netherlands. We used to spend time talking, laughing, and supporting each other through life’s ups and downs, and I missed those quiet, comforting moments after she moved. Though we stayed close through calls and online chats, the distance left a small gap in our daily lives.

One day, as I was making myself a cup of tea, I thought about how this simple ritual still connected us across the miles. That’s when inspiration struck: what if I could make tea even more special, turning it into a meaningful, shared experience? I started crafting different shapes out of tea bags—each one felt like a piece of me, something unique and memorable.

Over time, I’d send her my designs. Each shape I crafted came to hold its own sentiment—joy, peace, a simple “I’m here.” I found inspiration in nature, the seasons, or simply in enjoying the same books or movies, turning that everyday ritual into something more memorable. Making these tea bags became my way of bridging the distance and sharing something personal and heartfelt with her.

Now, as I create each batch, I think about the connections these tea bags might spark for others. I wanted to make something that would bring the same warmth and closeness I felt with my sister, turning tea into a small but meaningful gesture—a reminder that sometimes the smallest things can bring the most joy. These tea bags have become my way of sharing love and comfort across distances, one cup at a time.
