OUR STORY: From My Heart to Your Cup

I started making tea bags just for fun. It was a way to combine two things I loved: tea and being creative. I never expected it to turn into a business, let alone one that connected me to people and places I couldn't have imagined.

The most important of those connections is with my sister. She lives in the Netherlands now. Back when we lived closer, we'd talk for hours. Laughing, venting, just being there for each other. When she moved, we kept in touch through calls and texts. But I missed those easy, everyday moments we used to share.

Then one afternoon, making myself a cup of tea, it hit me. I could use this as something to still bring us together, even oceans apart. I started shaping tea bag paper into different designs, just to see what I could make.

Soon I was sending her the designs. Some were silly and just for fun. Some were for the holidays. Some were inspired by the new place she called home. I'd get ideas from the seasons changing, or from a book, or a movie we'd talked about. A cup of tea turned into a little moment between us, something to hold onto across the distance.

That's really where this business came from. When I make a batch now, I'm thinking about the same thing I felt with my sister. That a small gesture, something as simple as a cup of tea, can carry real warmth. That's what I hope these tea bags bring to anyone who tries them. A little comfort, a little connection, a little whimsy, one cup of tea at a time.
